Campsite T&C

Campsite Terms and Conditions –

  1. A deposit of 50% or the full amount of the booking if the total is less than £50.00 is required at the time of booking for all pitches. The balance is due and to be received by East Crinnis 28 clear days before the first day of the holiday. No reminder will be sent. If the balance is not received before this time we reserve the right to re-allocate the booking and East Crinnis will retain all deposits.
  2. An acknowledgment will be sent for each deposit and final payment made with booking details, please bring this booking confirmation with you to ensure a speedy check-in.
  3. No deposits or full payments for pitches are refundable for ANY reason. To ensure that you are covered against loss in unforeseen circumstances you are strongly advised to take out cancellation/holiday insurance. Any amendments to your original reservation will be charged a £10 administration fee.
  4. It is regretted that no refunds can be made if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday for any reason, including weather conditions.
  5. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the reservation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund of monies paid. No further financial claims will be considered.
  6. Please advise us if you are likely to arrive later than 6:00p.m. If we have not heard from you by 9:00a.m the day following your expected arrival we reserve the right to re-let your pitch.
  7. All sites must be vacated by 11:30 a.m on the day of your departure, failure to do so incurs a late fee of one full nights payment, charged at the rate of that day. We ask that you ensure the pitch is left clean and tidy as found on arrival. Access to your pitch will be granted from 12:30p.m.
  8. All vehicles must remain at the site arrival location before being checked in by a member of staff who will then show you to your pitch. Arrivals are not permitted after 8.30pm.
  9. The park gate is locked at 11:00p.m and reopened at 07:30a.m each day. If you return to the site later than this time you must leave your vehicle at the parking provided next to the reception. Motorhomes or campervans must return to the site before this time or access to your pitch will be denied. If you wish to leave the site before 07:30a.m we ask you leave your car by reception overnight.
  10. At East Crinnis we pride ourselves on being a quiet, family site; therefore, guests returning after 11:00p.m must adhere to the no noise restrictions and return to their pitch very quietly.
  11. Guests are expected to respect their noise levels to their neighbours throughout the day as we do not tolerate loud noise and please note the site operates a sleep zone/very quiet noise policy between 11:00p.m and 07:30a.m.
  12. Children must be under the supervision of adults at all times, please note this is essential with access to the pond and failure to do so might result in us terminating your visit to East Crinnis. No use of the play park is allowed before 08:00a.m and after 8:30p.m or if dusk falls before this time.
  13. Guests are not permitted to enter the lake at any time.
  14. Dogs must be kept under control and on leads at all times on the campsite. We request that dogs are not left un-attended. We permit dogs to be off the lead and exercised around the pond and field above it. It is essential that dogs are under the owners control in this environment and no harm will be caused to other guests or wildlife in this location. All mess must be cleared up and disposed of immediately.
  15. Vehicles must adhere to the slow speed limit on the site and respect the 10mph restriction.
  16. East Crinnis Holiday Park is a working farm with heavy machinery in use on a daily basis; therefore, there is strictly no access to the Farm at any time for to your own safety.
  17. East Crinnis Holiday Park reserves the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any person or persons whose conduct is detrimental to East Crinnis Holiday Park or to guests on the Park. No refund will be given of ANY monies already received if this right is implemented and we shall not be liable for any extra cost incurred by you.
  18. All groups must be accompanied by a person of 18 years or over. We only accept same-sex group bookings of up to 3 persons. Please contact us personally if you’re a larger group and would like to stay. Schools and affiliated groups/organisations are permitted outside of peak holiday periods.
  19. Day visitors are permitted to use the site but the site management team must be informed in advance with names and addresses recorded. Parking of guest vehicles must be left at the designated site reception parking at all times with access onto the site prohibited. Those guests staying longer than one hour will be charged a rate of £2 per person. Additional guest staying overnight will be charged the full rate of £3 per person per night.
  20. Fires are permitted on your pitch but must be in a metal fire basket, fire pit or chiminea, without any damage to the grass or ground. Fires are entirely at your own risk; the guest named on the booking confirmation accepts full liability for any personal damage or damage to the site – you must have means of dealing with a fire emergency e.g. fire extinguisher or adequate water. Fires must be completely away from tents, vehicles and shrub/bushes. The fire must not be left unattended at any time and it must be extinguished before going to sleep. We ask guests to respect the local environment and woodland, trees and wood around the farm are not to be taken even if it has fallen. BBQ’s also must follow these rules and must be off the ground. We have bricks available if you need to keep them off the floor.
  21. All persons staying on or visiting East Crinnis Holiday Park use the facilities provided entirely at their own risk. No liability shall be accepted by East Crinnis for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property, whilst using our facilities or in/to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall we accept liability for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.
  22. Ground Sheets must be environmentally friendly and those guests staying longer than two weeks will be asked to reposition them accordingly.
  23. Every effort is made to provide a full WIFI service across the main East Crinnis site, however, the may be areas on the park that experience limited or no service. We cannot be responsible for the temporary withdrawal of the service due to adverse weather conditions or server failures. 3G services are usually available as an alternative in the local area.
  24. All vehicles must be parked on your pitch and must not restrict any access to the site paths or other pitches. Only one car is permitted per pitch. We do offer additional, safe, parking spaces next to the reception; however, there are a limited number spaces available, please notify us at the time of booking if extra parking is required.
  25. In the event of adverse weather we reserve the right to restrict parking off grass areas, which might result in parking vehicles away from pitches.
  26. Every endeavour will be made to accommodate pitch requests, however, it must be clearly understood that acceptance of a booking is not conditional on the allocation of a particular pitch, and we are not contracted to guarantee the provision of any specified pitch.

Self-catering T&C

Self-catering Terms and Conditions

  1. A deposit of 50% of the total fee is required as a deposit to secure any booking of the self-catering units. The final balance must be paid to East Crinnis Holiday Park 28 clear days before the first day of the holiday. No reminder will be sent. If the balance is not received before this time we reserve the right to re-allocate the booking and retain the deposit.
  2. No deposits or balances for log cabins or glamping pods/yurts are refundable for ANY reason. To ensure that you are covered against loss in unforeseen circumstances you are strongly advised to take out cancellation/holiday insurance. Any amendments to your original reservation will be charged a £10 administration fee.

  7. All accommodation must be vacated by 10:00a.m on the day of your departure. Failure to do so will incur a charge of an additional nights tariff.
  8. Guests shall ensure that the standard of cleanliness of the premises is as high on their departure as on their arrival. All dishes must be washed and put away in the respective cupboards. All rubbish and recycling must be removed to the waste area by reception. If you have used the oven, grill or microwave this also must be left cleaned and dirt free. If you have used the BBQ please make sure it has also been cleaned and is free from any ash. A surcharge of £50 will be levied if this condition is not observed. Guests may opt for East Crinnis Holiday Park to do the cleaning for them. This requires a minimum of 24 hours notice, and will cost £25 for the extra cleaning.
  9. Any breakages or damage caused must be reported to reception and recompense will be made prior to departure. Payment will be taken from the card details provided.
  10. It is sometimes possible to arrange to have the log cabins or yurts cleaned during a stay, please discuss the costs of this with reception if this is something you would like.
  11. For stays in excess of a week we will provide clean linen and towels. We will agree the timing with you.
  12. We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.
  13. Access to your accommodation will be granted from 2:30p.m. You can enter each log cabin from a key left in the safe by the patio door, your unique 4 digit code can be found in your booking confirmation. Glamping bookings need to report to reception where you will be taken to your accommodation. Last arrival should be no later than 8:30p.m.
  14. Parking of one car is permitted by each log cabin or yurt. You will need to make contact with the East Crinnis team as to where a second vehicle can be parked. We do offer additional, safe, parking spaces for £2 per night per car next to the reception; however, there are a limited number space available, please notify us at the time of booking if extra parking is required.

  17. Dogs are the full responsibility of their owners and any damage caused to furniture or furnishing in accommodation will be charged to fully replace any of these items. Dogs are not permitted on any furniture or in bedrooms and it is the owner’s responsibility to insure mud and dirt from animals is kept to an absolute minimum throughout the accommodation.
  18. Dogs must be kept under control and on leads at all times around the site. We request that dogs are not left un-attended in any accommodation. We permit dogs to be off the lead and exercised around the pond and field above it. It is essential that dogs are under the owners control in this environment and no harm will be caused to other guests or wildlife in this location. All mess must be cleared up and disposed of immediately.

Parking of guest vehicles must be at the designated site reception parking at all times with access onto the site not permitted. Those guests staying longer than one hour will be charged a rate of £2 per person. Additional guest staying overnight will be charged the full rate.
  25. No person in excess of the number agreed at the time of reservation may occupy the property unless reception has been notified. Breach of this rule will terminate the contract without recompense to the guest.
  26. Fires and smoking are not permitted anywhere inside the log cabins. Guest must ensure they fully understand the fire regulations for any property and familiar themselves with the location of the fire extinguishers. A copy of the fire risk assessment is available.
  27. The log burners found in any of the glamping units are used entirely at your own risk and full liability is accepted by the guest named on the booking confirmation. Smoking is not permitted. You must have means of dealing with a fire emergency e.g. take note of the fire extinguisher and water fire bucket. All safety guidelines must be read and you will receive an introduction to the burners on arrival by a member of staff. The fire must not be left unattended at any time. We ask guests to respect the local environment and woodland, trees and wood around the farm are not to be taken even if it has fallen. One full basket of wood is provided on arrival and more can be purchased through reception during your stay. BBQ’s also must follow these rules and must be attended at all times.

No liability shall be accepted by East Crinnis for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property, whilst using our facilities or in/to cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall we accept liability for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.
  29. Every effort is made to provide a full WIFI service across through all areas of the log cabin. We cannot be responsible for the temporary withdrawal of the service due to adverse weather conditions or server failures. Please note none of our glamping units have Wi-Fi access, however guests can use our Wi-Fi hotspot room in the main shower block. 3G service is available though as an alternative in the local area.
  30. Please inform us as soon as possible if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation that needs our attention, so that we can assist and repair or make alternative arrangements. Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of hire.
