There is always something happening in Cornwall whilst you’re on holiday with us. Have a look at some local events so you don’t miss out! March St Pirans Day 5th March – Celebrations take place across Cornwall to honour St Piran, one of the most popular patron Saints. Be it an open air play, a singalong in a pub or a procession through a town, just look out for a black and white flag. April Cornwall Spring Flower Show (Lostwithiel) 7th – 8th April – A fragrant celebration of Cornish garden mania. Exuberant displays with camellias, daffodils, rhododendrons guaranteeing a colourful spectacle at the Boconnoc Estate. featuring show gardens, horticultural trade stands and competitive class. May Padstow May Day – 1st May – The biggest day in Padstow’s calendar. It’s not unusual for 30,000 people to flock into this little town on the day when Padstonians from all over the world return to their roots. Fowey Festival of Arts and Literature 12th – 19th May – Exciting programme includes talks, interviews, creative and practical workshops, exhibitions, presentations, theatre, musical concerts, an Art trail, guided walks and river cruises to enjoy, inform, challenge and inspire the imagination. Walking week holidays
We will be hosting two walking weeks in 2019 one in mid May and the other will be at the end of September. Join like minded guests and explore this wonderful part of the south coast of Cornwall, taking in breathtaking coastline and learning about the history of the Tin mining and China Clay heritage of the area. All walks will begin and finish on circular walks from East Crinnis. Walk 1 – Luxulyan Valley; discover this beautiful hidden gem home of the Treffry Viaduct and now a World heritage site (15miles) Walk 2 – Fowey harbour – South West Coastal Footpath,around Gribbin Head and past Polkerris beach. (17 miles) Walk 3-Eden Project and WheelMartin – explore the wonderful clay trials to the North of St Austell (14 miles) Walk 4 -Pentewan -Southwest Coastal Footpath around Black Head and returning through the Kingswoods trail (15miles) Please contact us for further information.
