Boating in the bay or hiking around the headland, you couldn’t wish for a better location to explore St Austell bay as East Crinnis is right in the middle of the horseshoe shape that spans miles of wonderful coastline, beaches, caves and harbours. Leaving the site through the woodland path, you reach a bridal path and a further few minutes’ walk and you’ll be towering above Crinnis beach on the south west coastal footpath. Sail, Paddleboard or Kayak from Polkerris water sports centre or sunbathe, picnic, rockpool and swim at the extremely sheltered Porthpean beach. Eat the fresh scallops or mussels caught by the local fisherman or enjoy a well-deserved Cornish Ale in the sun.
