The Britannia Inn -We are very luck to have The Britannia Inn only a 15 min walk away serving food all day along with a great beer garden with large children’s outdoor play area, featuring a bouncy castle (dog friendly). There is also a wonderful restaurant offering a more civilised indoor dining experience, along with an indoor bar area where all live sports are shown.
Sam’s on the beach – This amazing restaurant is found in the small harbour of Polkerris and offers amazing seafood in a perfect relaxed location. Incredible for sunsets over the bay and you might be lucky to get a table outside with your feet in the sand on the right day.
The Longstore – a wonderful dining experience in our nearby harbour of Charlestown. Offering an extensive menu with wonderful steaks and amazing cocktails from the exemplary team. With an all day coffee shop downstairs and a separate wine bar, this is a must for any visit to the harbour.
Oggy 1 – just a short 10 min walk (2min drive) up the road you will find a pasty shop selling wonderfully fresh Cornish pasties. A great place to stop on the way out for your adventure for your beach picnic.
The Polgooth Inn – for a quiet family run pub serving excellent food, look no further than the Polgooth Inn. This dog friendly pub is situated in a sheltered countryside valley on the other side of St Austell. Lovely pub grub with big plates to keep the tummy happy.
Edie’s kitchen – for a fine dinning experience near to the campsite Edie’s kitchen will tick all the boxes. Only a 25 min walk or a short drive away in the residential area of Carlyon Bay.
For more local dinning visit the various restaurants at Charlestown Harbour – we recommend, ‘The boat house’ for good alfresco dinning and cocktails or ‘The Rashleigh Inn’ for good pub grub. ‘The Pier House’ is a wonderful location right on the harbour and the seasonal outdoor HBQ outdoor dinning on the harbour quay.
Fowey and Mevagissey also have a great variety of exciting food options.
