The Shack Take Away&Shop
Throughout the main summer we offer freshly cooked takeaway food. Breakfast why not have a full Cornish cooked breakfast or one of our amazing Sausage flatty baps. In the evening try our amazing Pizza’s, Burgers or fresh chicken salads. All our produce is sourced locally and we can guarantee the best ingredients. Treat yourself to a chilled beverage with wine, beers and also our very own cider from East Crinnis, Avalanche, perfect after a long day of Cornish sightseeing or beach going. We also stock holiday essentials so don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your toothbrush, along with a selection of groceries, toys and gifts. The shack will be open from 08:45 – 11;45: for breakfast from Easter -the end of September and evening opening from May 24th – 1st September. The shack is also our site reception and you will always find someone on hand for any information.

Guided Walks
Come and see beautiful sights like our local harbour of Charlestown famous for Poldark. Guided walks start from Easter 2023 (free event) Join us on a lovely walk from East Crinnis along the south west coastal footpath to Charlestown. Find the secret path to the beach, look out for sea life in St Austell Bay, stop at the Marine observation coastal watch tower and explore the wonderful harbour of Charlestown. The walk is approx 4 miles there and back and takes around an hour each way. Please note we only guide you to Charlestown and then leave you to explore, have lunch and then return in your own leisure. There is a bus service from the harbour that brings you back to a 10min walk from East Crinnis.
Summer Holidays @ East Crinnis 2024
School Holidays 20th July-1st Sept What a great time to be with us with so much to do in the local areas and when hot and sunny some incredible beaches on our door step. The sea is at its warmest and can be 20C through this period. The Shack selling cooked breakfast and evening takeaway, local produce and licensed is the hub of our site. We sell quality products and everything you need from 08:30-11:30am and 16:30-20:00 every day. Every Tuesday we hold our wonderful magical story telling, a free family event at grumpy’s pond where amazing are told from two of Cornwall’s best actors. The evening starts at 6:30 and is set at the pond around a campfire! Live music from Jamie Bridger at the shack every Wednesday playing some amazing tunes from the last few decades. Sunday night is treasure hunt night – this is a family challenge around the local area solving clues along the way! March 5th March – St Pirans Day – Celebrations take place across Cornwall to honour St Piran, one of the most popular patron Saints. Be it an open air play, a singalong in a pub or a procession through a town, just look out for a black and white flag. 29th March – 14th April – Springfest at the Eden Project – Easter at Eden brings the joys of spring to life with Springfest. Throughout the Easter Holidays, The Eden Project will be full of family-friendly games, crafts and activities for all ages.
